Founded in 2014, Lake Ridge Technologies provides cost-effective and no-nonsense solutions to solve compliance challenges. From our head office at 45 Rockefeller New York City, we service clients worldwide including Fortune 500 companies, universities, and state agencies.






How it started
Our story
In 2014 we took up the challenge of helping small businesses meet their cybersecurity compliance requirements. To meet the overwhelming demand we developed our own unique compliance platform that automates and manages the compliance life cycle.
We started out with supporting the defense industrial base in meeting their U.S. Department of Defense cybersecurity compliance requirements (NIST SP 800-171). As we grew, we began to support ISO 27001 and HIPAA security rule compliance. Our users include both large and small organizations such as Leonardo, the University of South Carolina, and the Utah Department of Education.
Since the beginning we have fed project experience directly into product development. This has helped our customers achieve ISO 27001 certification, CompTIA Security Trustmark certification, pass stringent Department of Defense DCMA audits, and prepare for the cybersecurity maturity model certification (CMMC).

Leadership

Omer
Lead Cybersecurity Specialist
Omer brings cybersecurity and system administration expertise to the team. He has successfully designed and implemented NIST SP 800-171 programs for both small and large U.S. Department of Defense contractors. He has experience with ISO 27001, SOC2, HIPAA, CompTIA Security Trustmark+, and the NIST Privacy Framework. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from George Mason University. Omer is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Ethical Hacker, CompTIA IT Operations Specialist, and a CompTIA Secure Infrastructure Specialist.

Ashley
Lead Marketing Officer
Ashley brings outbound sales and marketing expertise to the team. She has implemented outbound sales development strategies to generate leads and drive revenue growth, staying abreast of industry trends, market changes, and adapting sales development strategies accordingly.

James
Lead Strategic Partnerships Development Officer
James brings outbound strategic partnerships development expertise to the team. He has implemented strategic partner outreach programs collaborating with various internal teams, such as sales, marketing, and product development, to ensure seamless integration of partnerships into overall business operations.

Bilal
Lead Software Developer
Bilal brings software development experience to the team. He has developed cloud-based HR software used by multiple fortune 500 companies. He also brings years of experience as a Cyber Security Analyst creating and implementing cyber security policies on both product and corporate levels to meet legal requirements that include, but are not limited to, NIST 800-171, ISO 27001, Cyber Essentials, and GDPR. Bilal holds a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from George Mason University and has achieved the CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, and CompTIA Security + certifications.

Katie
Lead Sales Development Officer
Katie brings outbound sales expertise to the Lake Ridge team, backed by a background in accounting and years of real estate experience navigating high-stakes negotiations and complex transactions. Her time in real estate sharpened her ability to assess risk, communicate clearly, and build trust—skills that now help her simplify compliance conversations for small and mid-sized businesses. She drives lead generation through strategic outreach, staying sharp on industry trends and tailoring her approach to meet clients where they are.
