According to reports, a US Army soldier stationed at Fort Cavazos (formerly known as Fort Hood) was arrested on December 20 in Texas and is facing charges of illegally transferring confidential phone records.
20-year-old Cameron John Wagenius, is under suspicion for releasing presidential call logs from AT&T and Verizon using the online pseudonym 'Kiberphant0m'.
Wagenius was first identified as a suspect in the Snowflake hacking operation, along with Connor Riley Moucka, who goes by the alias 'Judische' and was apprehended in October for the Snowflake attacks/hacking.
According to reports, Wagenius allegedly leaked call logs belonging to President Donald Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris following Moucka's arrest. In addition, Wagenius offered data schema from the National Security Agency, call logs from various US government agencies, and advertised a SIM-swapping service targeting Verizon PTT (push to talk) users for exploiting stolen credentials to redirect calls and messages
In a post on Telegram, he claimed responsibility for hacking over 15 telecom providers and operating a distributed denial-of-service botnet.
An indictment has been made against Wagenius, accusing him of engaging in the sale and distribution of confidential phone records. Further information about his involvement in the Snowflake attacks has not yet been disclosed.
